First of all, Mary (Dave's mom), I know the music on the blog annoys you. But today's is funny--it's the Turkey Song by Adam Sandler. And seeing how you live on a real life farm WITH a few real life turkeys (why not "ies"?), I thought you'd appreciate this song and above photo (Mickey pardoning a turkey).
If not, just press mute. (Tee hee).

So, I thought I'd share some quotes from the book I'm reading about patience.
They're helping! I'm not more patient yet . . . but I'm thinking about it.
LOL!
1. "Your biography becomes your biology."--Caroline Myss (That's heavy, no? What we DO with our lives has real physiological consequences.)
2. "The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his mind."--William James
3. "Long is not forever." --German proverb
4. "I love being married. It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life." --Rita Rudner
Number 4 , that's my favorite one--because no matter how "over the moon" you were about your partner when you got married, there's going to come a time when you think to yourself, "I don't think I really ever KNEW you."
Huh, Dave?
(Name the movie. And, LOVE YOU!)
