Julia Child

I love to cook. I don't think I'm that great at it, but I love love love to cook.

So, when I saw this movie about Julia Child coming out in August--with Meryl Streep playing Julia Child--I was pretty excited.

In addition to calling 2009 the "Summer of Cupcakes," I think I'm going to call it the "Summer of Movies." (Not usually one for sitting in the dark for 2 hours, but this summer I've already seen at least 3 movies. And what's better, I've enjoyed them.)

PS: Thanks Whitt/Liz for getting me out to see Parry Hotter (that's what I'm calling it). Still not sure I know what book that movie correlates with, but it was a great time.
