Postcards from the Edge

If I didn't keep the blog, I don't know that I'd ever remember all that goes on during a day, week, month, or season of our lives.

It's not that it's a crazy life, okay maybe it is a little loca, but it's just FULL. I'm thankful for that. I like FULL for now. (I'm sure one day I'll snap and ask for EMPTY, but for this period in our lives, I like FULL.)

Here's a quick overview of the last few weeks around Casa de Pumpkin, affectionately referred to as "Postcards from the Edge." (And yes, only 2 people that read this blog know what movie this is . . . ).

Oh, and PS: I'm starting my Julie/Julia/Dawn Project this weekend. First up: Beef Burguignon. Woo hoo!

Cam's "mailbox" for Girls' Camp--cool idea, no?

Kaya thew a surpise party for her friend Rose. (Which made me feel like the world's worst mom--Kaya paid for everything: the decorations, treat bags . . . everything. I rationalized that it was a great learning experience for her. And, confidence builder--who does that at age 10?)

More of Cam's friends (Mary--doesn't this make you smile!)

Twilight's "Jacob." Aunt Beth and Uncle Pat got these for Cam and Kaya (he's their neighbor).

Cam's converting her closet into a vanity/desk area.

Jonah and Catelyn.
(La and Chris came to visit last week--she's the sweetest baby ever.)

Cam's friends on their way to the lake.

Daybreak's SoDa Row/Business area (just finished).

Cam's friend . . . in the lake. (Jen, this is for you--in case you are still reading the blog EVEN after you lost the last two giveaways!)

My "Julia" presents from Dave.

Jonah, Catelyn, La and Chris.

Kaya and her new hat. (She's updating our blog. LOL!)

Jonah: self-portrait.

Harry-ette.

Metal Man on SoDa Row. It's art, I tell ya.

Jonah has been golfing a lot lately.

Paigey and a bug (which we can't see).

Cam and Oz.
