Hang On Snoopy

I love Snoopy.

Which reminds me, I also love soup--SOUPY.

In other words:

I.

Love.

Soup.

(With hot rolls.)

Every kind you can imagine (Minus this bacon and bean Campbell's makes. Sorry, dad/mom--I think this is one you guys like? If childhood memory serves.)

And so this week, I've made a vow to make a couple different soups, get them in small individual-serving sized containers, and FEAST! (Plus, it seems like soup is a way economical meal. Have you priced Root Vegetables in Bulk lately? We are talking C-H-E-A-P!)

So, the Soup-Fest has begun--and it's already been so fun! (Yes it's only Monday and I'm declaring the Soup-Fest fun! That's how I roll. In like a lion, out like a lamb. I'll probably fizzle out by Wed.)

Fortunately the kids are supporting my Soup-Fest--because as I started chopping this morning they all said they would have "soup for breakfast." How nice is that? (Nice.)

On today's menu:

1. Amy B's Chicken Noodle Soup

(With Klusky Noodles--love them. It's the only recipe I make now.)

2. Carrot Peanut Butter Soup

(From The TastyKitchen.com. It's got a 4 Oven Mit Rating. Gotta try it. Supposed to be kind of Thai-ish. I'll letcha know.)

3. Broccoli/Cheese Soup

(A little nervous as to whether our plumming can withstand this one--it calls for 3/4 lb of Velveeta. Whoa Yeah.)

Soup-Fest suggestions?
