I'll admit it, I'm beat.My head is spinning.
And you know, I've not remembered a time when life seemed more "chaotic."
Like, if you told me a tornado was going to hit, I'd believe you.
That's how silly life seems right now.
But rather than complain,
I'm going to begin today's post with "the good" (and then just document the most-lighthearted "silly" or "bad"):
THE GOOD
1. The above recipe for Candy Corn Jello (it looks like Candy Corn!):

2. The solution to opening CLAMSHELL PACKAGES:
USE your can-opener! Yup! It works (See above photo.) You know clamshell packages . . . the kind that are so sharp/hard that you could cut off a finger prying open your package. Those ones.)
3. Getting Boo'd.
Not only did we get Ding-Dong-Ditched with treats for Halloween, we got DDD'd by someone that works for Martha Stewart! Skeleton tissue paper, cute plate, real ribbon. (THANK YOU BOO!)
4. Renewing my library card and checking out 30 books with Camry.
THE SILLY
1. SICKNESS! LOTS OF IT!
SO far this week: Two separate visits to Urgent Care for 3 confirmed cases of Strep Throat (Jonah, Cam, Kaya). One trip to Dr. for migraine/shot of demerol--sp? (Dawn). One missed day of work for some kind of flu/virus just 12 hours AFTER the above-said Urgent Care Visits (Dave). One up-all-night stomach flu (Paige).
And a partridge in a pear tree.
